NAVARRA PAMPLONA (Inside the circle, crowned winner)



I bring back one of my favorite brands and most beautiful of the pre-philately of Navarra, because within the brands Navarro, out of the ordinary, as a brand is not linear and repetitive, as can be the "Navarra", "Pamplona" or "Tudela" (also, some have their charm, everything is by the way).

brand is PAMPLONA NAVARRA two overlapping or parallel lines, crowned and honored within two concentric circles or one circle (of course, there are two different brands, although I will share together in this article, given their similarity, since they differ only in circles and obviously in the measurement of its diameter).



The first was the use of two concentric circles, which are used in black ink and red ink and forth between the years 1825 and 1826, with a diameter of 35 mm. .



Charter mark in black ink, from Pamplona to Marcilla circulated on 22 October 1825, and cover with 5 quarts in black ink stamp, for a simple letter weighing up to 6 adarmes.

Charter mark in red ink, from Pamplona Tudela circulated on 14 December 1825, 12 ½ quarts cover with black ink manuscript, in Navarre for letters weighing 11 to 12 ounce of weight, according to current rates.



The second, used only in red ink, and was between 1826 and 1827 and then between 1831 and 1832 and with a diameter of 30 mm.

Anverso: Marca Pamplona Navarra dentro de un circulo en tinta roja de salida u origen, marca en tinta negra ESPAGNE PAR BAYONNE: de transito y porteo manuscrito francés a la llegada de 13 décimas.



Reverso: Porteo español a cuño en tinta roja de 9 cuartos, tarifa para carta sencilla de hasta 6 adarmes a Francia, y fechador de doble circulo concéntrico de llegada a Paris ( 2 MARS 1826 ).
